Request for Comment: CodeCamp or NWA Techonology Day 

I'm looking for some feedback on the following ideas.

Calling it NWA Technology Day on July 25th

4 Tracks:
.Net
Web Technology
Data (Database / Data Mining)
Microsoft Office (focus on Excel, VBA and Access)

Schedule:
09:00 - 9:50 Keynote
10:00 - 11:20 Session 1
11:30 - 12:30 Lunch
12:30 - 01:50 Session 2
02:00 - 03:20 Session 3
03:30 - 05:00 Session 4 or Closing Statement

We will need the following areas for volunteers:
Sponsorship Coordinator
Speaker Coordinator
Marketing Coordinator
Facilities Coordinator
SWAG Coordinator

I think the schedule and the tracks sound great.  I hope we can keep this one small so we can kind of get the hang of it and then grow it into THE event to be at in NWA for IT Professionals.

One idea that was discussed early on was to have the NWA IT Professional Conference and build it to include Project Management, Analysis, Design/Architecture, Security, Testing, and Database tracks. 

I propose calling it NWA IT Professional Conference and we can make it our goal to include these other groups and tracks in the future.

I think your plan is well thought out and we just need to get poeple on those spots and start planning, I'm excited!!!!

I think this is a great idea.  After being able to see SXSW, I've been wondering if we could have something similar in NWA.  I don't have a lot of contacts in the area, but let me know if there's anything I can do to help.
